Charlotte County, Florida has many beautiful communities with canals offering boating access to the Gulf of Mexico. These communities range from the relatively economical in Port Charlotte to the luxury communities of Punta Gorda Isles (PGI) and Grassy Point.

PGI is a unique community as it is the only waterfront community in all of Florida where the city maintains the seawalls. A small tax assessment each year guarantees that the canals will be maintained in excellent condition and you will never be hit with a large repair bill for your seawall.
