It is a convenience store and it has been moving to Florida over the past few years. Wawa Florida! It sounds like a cheer and to those who had frequented these quirky stores back home, the sound soothing. Wawa Florida!

Now a Philadelphian can find a place to buy a real hoagie. A hoagie? People from other parts of the nation may call it a sub or a hero but a hoagie is not just a sub or a hero, it is different. It is Philadelphian. The bread, the cheese, the spices are all different…. and Wawa Florida has it!

Wawa Florida will have more than just hoagies. You will be able to find fresh coffee, bakery and breakfast items. For lunch and other times there are soups, salads and sandwiches.
Wawa Florida will have gasoline service, known for their competitive pricing.

The Sarasota store opened June 9 at 3703 N. Washington Blvd. The Bradenton store, also open as of June 9, is located at 4506 53rd Ave. E.

Wawa Florida already has stores in the Tampa area and Cape Coral. There are pans for more stores in SW Florida with one planned in Venice at the intersection of US 41 and Englewood Rd across from the Cadillac dealer.

The company has been expanding throughout the Mid-Atlantic area with stores in its native area around Philly and through New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Now it is in our area.
