The Sarasota store opened June 9 at 3703 N. Washington Blvd. The Bradenton store, also open as of June 9, is located at 4506 53rd Ave. E.
Wawa Florida already has stores in the Tampa area and Cape Coral. There are pans for more stores in SW Florida with one planned in Venice at the intersection of US 41 and Englewood Rd across from the Cadillac dealer.
The company has been expanding throughout the Mid-Atlantic area with stores in its native area around Philly and through New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Now it is in our area.
