Gulf Cove and South Gulf Cove, FL are deed-restricted communities in Charlotte County, FL near Englewood, Rotonda and Boca Grande on Cape Haze, FL. The Gulf Coves are close to Englewood Beach. Just a short drive along highway 776 will take you to Beach Road. Even closer to South Gulf Cove is the bridge to Boca Grande, FL. There are two beautiful beaches on Gasparilla Island, just south of the town of Boca Grande.
The Gulf Coves have extensive canal systems that are great for power boaters. You can purchase a home on a canal so you can keep a boat in your back yard. If you prefer to be “off the water”, there are many homes available. Boaters can gain access to Charlotte Harbor through the canal systems to the Myakka River and Charlotte Harbor. From there, it is only a short way to Boca Grande Pass and the Gulf of Mexico.
Only a short drive from The Gulf Coves you will find many excellent golf courses. As well as the courses in Rotonda, there are great courses in Englewood, Cape Haze, Port Charlotte and North Port.
