Indicators of economic activity show that the US economy grew faster than expected and suggest that a sustainable growth period lies ahead. Business investment is up significantly and the growth rate April through June, 2014 was over four percent. In addition, the Labor Dept reported a drop in initial unemployment benefits claims.

This is improvement is reflected in optimism of people who are reserving winter vacation rentals in Southwest Florida. At this writing at the end of August, Suncoasteam Realty Property Management Dept has only one seasonal rental property that has not been reserved for the winter. Many properties are reserved through April and even May.

This can be an opportunity for investors who want to purchase seasonal or even annual rental properties. Rentals are in high demand and should be for many years to come. There are many good properties available which can be rented during the season and used by owners at their pleasure.
