The White Marsh neighborhood of Rotonda West was the fifth section to be developed. Located at “4 o’clock” on the rotonda, the east-southeast section, Rotonda West White Marsh is built around the Long Marsh Golf Course. The 27-hole Long Marsh Golf Club is comprised of three 9-hole courses; Long Marsh, White Marsh, and Pine Valley, and features 7,120 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.2 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ted McAnlis, the Long Marsh golf course opened in 1999.
The majority of homes in Rotonda West White Marsh were built after the late 1990s and through the 2000′s. White Marsh homes are generally larger and built with more luxury features than in the earlier built sections. In addition, they meet higher building codes for storm protection and lower insurance costs.
