The Pine Valley neighborhood of Rotonda West was the last section to be developed. Located at “5 o’clock” on the rotonda, the southeast section, Pine Valley is built around the Long Marsh Golf Course. The 27-hole Long Marsh Golf Club is comprised of three 9-hole courses; Long Marsh, White Marsh, and Pine Valley, and features 7,120 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.2 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ted McAnlis, the Long Marsh golf course opened in 1999.
The majority of homes in Pine Valley were built after 2000. Pine Valley homes are generally larger, luxury homes. In addition, they meet the latest building codes for storm protection and lower insurance costs.
