The Pebble Beach neighborhood of Rotonda West was the second section to be developed. Located at “9 o’clock” on the rotonda, the west section, Pebble Beach is built around the Palms Golf Course. The 18-hole Palms course features 6,511 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71 and it has a slope rating of 127 on Bermuda grass. Designed by D.J. DeVictor, the Palms golf course opened in 1989.
The majority of homes in Pebble Beach were built after 1980 and into the late 1990s with some built after 2000. Pebble Beach is a short drive to Englewood Beach and Boca Grande.
